Background
MakerClub is a fantastic project founded by accomplished software engineer and entrepreneur Simon Riley Simon then teamed up with marketing manager Declan Cassidy who once owned the renowned Blind Tiger Club in Brighton along with his successful music promotions company Playgroup.
Since more and more people have become involved in MakerClub and successfully raising over £13,000 on crowd funding site IndiGoGo plus £76,000 from Innovate UK, Technology Strategy Board they have been going from strength to strength.
MakerClub’s main aim is to make learning about 3D printing, electronics and coding fun, accessible and relevant for young people, and in turn, to inspire the next generation of inventors. They’re developing a collection of resources where people can learn, build, collaborate and even sell their robotic creations with the aid of a learning platform, marketplace and an intuitive mobile application.
Client Comment
“We found Jack to be adaptable, friendly and most important of all, quick to understand our business. His design work was outstanding and he really felt part of the team. We wouldn’t hesitate recommending him to anyone else.”
